Submission Guidelines
First off, I want to thank you for your interest in submitting posts or ideas to my blog!
For guest post considerations please keep the following in mind:
Each post will include a picture that relates to the post. You are welcome to submit one if you have something in mind, but be sure that you have permission to use the picture (You can try Flickr Creative Commons - be sure to check the "Only search within Creative Commons-licensed content" box at the bottom) and cite the appropriate source (you can do this by sending a direct link.)
If you have an idea that you would like me to write about, and it fits in with the scope of my writing for my audience, send me your ideas here, please label the subject line of your email clearly as "Blog Post Ideas".
Any submissions that do not follow these guidelines will not be considered.
For guest post considerations please keep the following in mind:
- I only accept guest posts that will be of particular interest to my readings. Acceptable topics: art, graphic design, branding, and small business.
- When submitting be sure to have your subject line read "Considerations for Guest Posting"
- Please do not include full drafts, but rather a title & summary. (Know that posts should be 300-500 words long.)
- Posts should be written in an engaging manner, keep the tone conversational and relatable.
- Your bio should be clear and concise about who you are, what you do, and why you are an authority on the subject you are writing on.
- Post submissions must be unique and never before published.
- I am usually working tirelessly to produce products and content for my shop, website, and blog; therefore it may take some time for me to get back to you. Rest assured I will personally email you about your submissions, what I am and am not accepting and why.
