The Kalends of August brings Lughnassadh, which for me means a gratefulness for baked goods and the precursor to the Autumn Equinox which comes near September's end.

It feels like it has been forever since I've been able to speak to you. Let me tell you that it's been an utter exciting whirlwind and not without it's share of stresses. As you know I like to speak frank, albeit with a positive tone, so here's the skinny...
Back in June we moved from a tiny apartment, to a nice big, beautiful house. This move opened a lot of opportunities, as well as inviting some obligations that have been a journey in and of themselves to meet. As those of you who have bought a house know now, there's always much more to the process than just finances. Often there are some hidden problems you might not have expected, and emergencies can always come up.
While I can say there haven't been too many unpleasantries and all are fairly easy to fix, suddenly coming upon them has been trying. But now we're all settled for the most part and what is going on now focuses on re-establishing our lives in this new setting.
As it applies to me, the biggest change was a huge technological setback. Running a business without being able to be online, check in, and "take care of business" in a regular manner was a real strain on me. Being less present there was an obvious decrease in business, but nothing quite ground to a halt (thank gods!)
So some goals for August are really centered on me jumping back into the flow and adjusting where I need to. Over the last few years I've really focused on my artwork and the shop. But now that I've covered a lot of the basics I wanted taken care of I can bring my intuitive, healing, and teaching work to the forefront as well!
So get ready for some awesome changes, a real resurgence, and a general enlivening! I'm excited to share all I've been o so secretly working on with you!
As I get back into the swing of my old schedule and tweak it for my new surroundings and demands I plan on sharing many a beautiful creation that has been waiting to make it to the store and your home. The main great work of August will be adjustment, which is definitely appropriate given the coming of the season change. I plan to tie up any loose ends from the previous months off and catch up on any pressing work. This will likely result in a flood of new content, lots of sharing of neat pictures and just about a complete 180 from the radio silence I had to endure during most of June & July...so buckle up !
