The new style of rings I'm introducing...
It seems ages ago I started wire wrapping rings.  In fact I can distinctly remember when I really started messing with them.  It was the Fall of 2009 when I finally moved back to Virginia from Maryland...

Now how far I've come seems a little funny to me.  At first my beginning attempts I was so excited about, but when I look to the ones above I must chuckle at how excited I was about such simpler things...

Some oldies but goodies from beginning wrapping.
Even the ones above are still worlds away it feels from my first ones.  But then that is the way of artistic progression.  We all start out as novices, fumbling our way along and then as we grown we hone both technique & execution.  We refine the materials we use, and that discerning eye of experience results in a much better output!

I note that I seem to go in spurts with jewelry.  Suddenly I will make several types of one piece after weeks, or even months, of not touching the technique.  I pride myself on generally following my artistic & intuitive inspiration and I find that doing so results in much lovelier work than making to make.

So tell me your thoughts in the comments below!  Do you like wire wrapped rings?  How are you liking the new style I've show you here today (the first picture) versus older ones (second picture)?  Is there anything you'd like to see me make?  If you're new to the blog make sure you follow me (I use Bloglovin'), jump on the newsletter so you can get those special updates I don't share anywhere else and connect with me on social media!

Thank you dearest! I'm hoping to have the majority of them up by next week! They were especially fun to make because I did my best to make sure each was unique in its own way! <3
