Root Chakra Lotus Flower Stone Home by Aradia's Hand
Generally the idea is to get these out as the first one is being released, but time has had the hiccups here quite a bit lately...

I've always loved lotus flowers, the brilliant unfolding of the petals is visually soothing and just utterly beautiful! But making flowers in fiber sometimes proves a challenge...
When I came across the pattern for a lotus flower I was giddy excited over the moon. However, as with most things it needed some tweaking for my purposes. Originally part of a blanket that just wouldn't do for me, but as a single motif perfect.
As I came to finish it up I decided I was not so much in love with the original finishing of turning it into a hexagon to be linked to others. a lotus needs a lily pad right? So I set out to create something and et voila!

What I churned out happens to produce a lovely seven rayed leaf which links back to the main seven chakras which I have to say was pretty neat!
My original plans were to get some made out, but I also will be looking to make entire sets together as well for those of you who love to match like me! And after all of that you will be able to see some two toned ones adding a bit more visual depth to the colors!
