So here's the story morning glory...
Ages ago I started making some lovely ribbon roses. These turned out so lovely that I decided they would definitely make their way into the shop. Especially for the the Ever After (my wedding line) collection. I love something a little different so the pretty patterns on the ribbon makes for an interesting ending pattern for the roses, just like the water color cranes from way back when...
Then I got an interesting request from another artist to see if I could make these lovelies from men's ties...

As I'm always up for a challenge you know I was down for it and got straight to work collecting ties to try it out. It took a bit of finageling (working with ties of various materials & thicknesses means the results weren't predictable). I finally recently finished them all (I had started them but hadn't made up my mind how best to finish them off.)
On to the contest...
Normally I'm a font of ideas and information. But the task of coming up with 17 unique & fun names according to my typical style was a little daunting. So I'm opening up my studio doors for your input!

So now it's time to get your naming on!!!! Here's how it works...
In the comments below I want your input as to what I should name each of the roses. You're welcome to submit more than one name per rose (it'll up your chances for winning too!), and you don't have to submit a name for each. The person who submits the most accepted rose names wins a special discount (20%) to my shop! (Remember I don't ever do sales, so this is a bit of a big deal!)
***This contest will be open from today till April 30 (2 weeks long!) So don't hesitate to enter!!! Also, be sure to enter your naming submissions on the original post (here or on Facebook) so I see them!***

Some tips for naming...
- Be Creative! Playing on words, media/literary references, and just plain fun titles are GREAT candidates! (Want some ideas of my style...head over to my shop to see my naming tendencies!)
- Consider variations! Switching around words or using less than often used words is something I adore as well!
- Don't stress! If you can only think of one good name, that's still one entry and every little bit counts!Can't wait to see what you come up with!
