The weather is cooling, the leaves are changing. Autumn is finally here!
Just Monday the Equinox finally arrived. Here in Virginia this means cooling weather (finally). The heat had gotten to me and I was more than done with that nonsense.
For many of you in this area of the world it also means the "season of all things pumpkin". While it's not quite time for cakes & pies (that's totally a Winter holiday thing for me) it's the gearing up to that point in the year and I'm already thinking of all the comforting treats I plan on making.
Today the New Moon is also in Libra. I made mention of this in my newsletter (sign up for special updates!) but in case you missed it Libra is all about balance, beauty, & harmony. Libra likes to be comfortable and get along with people, but still maintains a desire to be selective with its environment.
In the studio...
I took a break to repair something I'd accidentally broken. The hazards of making jewelry is that it's easy to break it in the forming process. It was just the wire, crimped too closely but enough that I had the pleasure of re-stringing and ending the necklace.

Today I'll also be finishing off the first Unity Cord. I went to work on it this past weekend and realized too late that I'd forgotten some of my supplies. So now I'm ready to get it done so I can catch up on my photography queue this weekend.
