WUW?: How I Feel About...

All Things Beautiful Stashbox by Aradia's Hand
Sometimes a thought just comes to me.  Without seeming rhyme or reason on the obvious level of consciousness.
Art is a method of expression, its about beauty and connection.  It doesn't need anyone else, and there is no right or wrong.  The best expression is that which is natural to you.

These are some of those such thoughts and words.  Alighting upon me during a conversation with a dear friend and fellow artist, Starlene Breiter of Rocks & Reiki.

Its easy to judge something as useful and relevant and worthwhile.  But when the meaning is more abstract, seems less utilitarian in the strictest of senses sometimes we dismiss its importance.

Being intensely practical, but perhaps less than logical, I've struggled with this concept myself.  Which in and of itself is an interesting irony of being an artist myself.

In the comments below tell me...
  • How do you feel about art? Why?
