Astro Insights...The Full Moon (5/3, 11:42 EDT) will be in Scorpio. This is a good time to take a look at your resources, seeing how you can grow them. As well as working on any personal transformation and releasing of energy, thoughts, feelings, desires and putting them to rest.
Sabbat/Esbat Suggestions...Beltane, the astrological version, is also just around the corner as well. This day is the height of the transition from Spring to Summer. Everything is coming to fruition and there is beauty and revelry evident in all nature! Get out there and celebrate!
On a personal note...I can't believe I'm in the home stretch of my pregnancy! The bigness that is my belly is to that point where it just will not be denied. And it feels like I am more everything...more tired, more hungry, more anxious...and so on...

In the studio...With baby so evident I'm feeling that pressure to push creatively. As you know photography has been on my mind as of late, but also that itch to make something new. I tend to batch together many of my tasks, which ends up feeling like I'm binging on creativity. The most pressing obstacle lately has been the rather wet weather. Since I prefer natural light over any other good photography days can feel in short supply.
To combat that lacking feeling in the creativity department I'll be heading up a custom order this week. A specially ordered hummingbird's nest necklace.

I'm also stocking up to give my current peg loom a real test drive by starting a baby rug. This will involve my lucet as well as I weave together multiple strands to get the bulky heft I need to weave with!
What I'm talking about...I feel like I've been super quiet on the blog. Being overly ambitious means my eyes can get bigger than my stomach (quite a feat now given the baby belly!) Which leads to me bit quite finishing some work in the time allotted. Although I have some sneaking suspicions as to a factor in that equation that I'm working on dissolving.
