Have nothing in your home which you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful. ~ William Morris
Things to take special note of:
- When making new friends bear in mind that you are the company you keep. Sometimes this can be a hard fact to live with if you care about someone who may be a bit of a Negative Nancy or Debbie Downer. Consider how you can be more loving in your interaction not only with them, but also to yourself. (Is it time to spend less time & energy with them?)
- Are you doing something because it fulfills and enlivens you or is it merely out of a sense of obligation? How could you shift your perspective so that you find joy in whatever you may be doing? (Be present now rather than some time else!)
- While shopping really think about the new bauble. Will it enrich your home or become another thing that eventually you forget you even own? In the case of the latter reconsider your purchase and sleep on it for a bit. (If you must have something consider what you have now that you could let go of!)
