Now first off, for those of you who don't know, I actually run two separate businesses. As the years have gone by though, what seemed so very separate to me has slowly melded into a somewhat cohesive dream with twining cords between the two.
When I first started I'll be honest, I thought I just wanted to make "pretty" things. But a time machine visit back in the past and most of what I'd made wasn't nearly as pretty as it is today. So we can go ahead and throw that idea out as a realistic intention. Do I love to make things by hand? Yes. Do I enjoy capturing some of the old world arts and bringing them back to the present? Very much so (although let it be known I'm not anti-machine or technology, I just really appreciate that human element.)
The bottom line though is that I love handmade things and I wanted to be able to spread that joy to you and allow you to value your purchases as more than just "some cute trinket" you found online. I work to put the humanity and heart into what you receive from me with a deep and spiritual awareness!
Now to be fair I have to touch on my other business, PhoenixFlame Healing Center. This business allows me to help bring self-awareness and responsibility to you when it comes to your wellness and lifestyle. Now if you pause for a moment you see that awareness is key here. In both aspects I wish for you to be aware of the subtle energies that are around you. Whether they take the form of physical items, or just reflect in your choices both ultimately affect you.
While art has always been a part of my life, as has an appreciation for the natural world (which many times figures into my art), holistic health and alternative medicine were a bit late to come to me comparatively. I have always appreciated the wisdom of the natural world, but growing up sheltered I didn't have the occasion to experience its wonders until adolescence.
In working within mainstream healthcare my entire career I got to see first hand the negative outcomes when you don't honor the relationship and place your body has in your life. What happens around you has just as powerful an effect as the things you physically take into your body, and sometimes more because of the way those things go unnoticed and stick around in your energy field.
A broken healthcare system has resulted in a breakdown of the relationship between patient and provider. Information that you really need is muddled in trends and hype and often just buried beyond your reach. Healthcare providers are overworked and encouraged by the system and many of their patients for quick fixes.
The “problem†I’m trying to solve is moving towards a deeper level of awareness with the energy you bring into your space. And even better that message applies to ALL of my work! I honestly get all *_* (starry-eyed) just thinking about it. Not only do I want your purchases to be authentic to your needs and desires, but also how you decorate and the things you come into contact with everyday but often don’t think about. I help solve that by putting Heart into everything I make, making it from a soul-centered and sacred space, and cleansing & blessing it before I send it off to you.
Another deep thread that runs through my work is the honoring and involvement in one's passions. In this way I serve as an inspiration for you to embrace your own dreams. I believe we should all be able to do what we love and something that matters to us. Ultimately, part of my mission as an entrepreneur is to help others, with awareness and purpose, by setting a good example, and just by sharing my own personal joy with everyone that I can.
